Whitley County Retired Teachers Scholarship

This scholarship is available to a graduating senior from any public high school in Whitley County who is planning to attend a 4-year college or university in pursuit of a Baccalaureate degree. Applicants should be in the top third of their graduating class, hold a grade point average of 3.0 or better and have aspirations of a career in education. A continuing standing committee will screen and narrow the applications and submit these applications to the Whitley County Community Foundation who will choose the recipient. Finalists may be asked to attend an interview session.

Letters of Recommendation

Please provide at least two (2) letters of recommendation. At least one (1) letter of recommendation needs to come from an academic teacher. The letter must describe the initiative, dependability, and other character qualities of the applicant. 

 Please have the writers email their letter to cfwhitleyscholarships@cfwhitley.org , stating who they are writing the letter for and their relation to the applicant.
