Tim Hearld Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior athlete from Columbia City High School. It was established in 2014 to honor and reflect the life and influence that Tim Hearld, a coach, mentor, and friend, of many people in this community, had on those around him. The scholarship will be awarded to someone who reflects his values of hard work, giving back to the community, and being a good influence to those around them.

Timothy D. Hearld was a devoted husband and father of three that was tragically taken too soon in a snowmobile accident. He had a zest for life and a goofy smile that was contagious to others. Humble in his many accomplishments, he strove to make a difference to those around him. Tim rose to any challenge and was passionate in helping others.

 

The Timothy D. Hearld Memorial Scholarship was established in 2014 to honor and reflect the life and influence that Tim Hearld, a coach, mentor, and friend, of many people in this community, had on those around him. This scholarship will be awarded to someone who reflects his values of hard work, giving back to the community, and being a good influence to those around them. The recipient of this award will be given to someone who lives like Tim did.

CRITERIA:

This scholarship is available to a graduating Columbia City High School senior athlete. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7.
